Dust Collector Tape

Collects Dust generated by saw blade as cutting teeth remain imbedded in the gel during cutting process.

3/16 inch (4mm) sticky glue tape.

Disposable: Discarded with cast.

Multiple lengths and sizes: Pediatric and adult.

During The Cutting Process

The cutting teeth will reciprocate within 5 Degrees angle and always remain embedded in the glue. Particles will be therefore trapped by the Dust Collector Tape.




Benefits:

Eliminates the need for vaccum.

Reduces noise pollution.

Cost effective because maintenance is not required.
Application
 Instructions:


Remove one protective release paper from Dust Collector Tape.


Firmly apply Dust Collector Tape directly on the cutting area of cast.


Remove the other release paper.


Cut cast through center of the Dust Collector tape with standard cast cutter.

 
 
     Dangers of Cast Dust:

Pulmonary: Chemical bronchitis, inclusion disease and  macrophagic foreign body reaction Silica.

Ocular: Corneal abrasion and foreign body reaction.

Enviromental: Debris.

Toxic: Monomer toxicity and allergy.
